This is a really great bar. I had to replace my bar after a separation. This one was pretty close to what I had, but better in many ways, except one.First, the good: it’s very sturdy, has room for a lot of liquor bottles, wine glasses, bar accessories, etc. I like that it folds out to create a larger bar space.The bad: the middle shelf on the swing out shelves is too short to hold even a bottle of Jack Daniels. It’s good for shorter bottles, but it’s really surprising that they would design this in such a way that 2/3 of the shelves on the swing out shelves won’t accept even normal sized fifth bottles.Overall, if someone asked me if I’d buy it again, my answer would be “absolutely!” Even with the one flaw, it’s a fine piece of furniture and serves its purpose well.The cabinet is a great piece of furniture for those wanting a bigger cabinet / buffet style piece. It also turns into a bar, which is a great feature. Overall, this is a functional cabinet with a ton of storage options.Unfortunately, our piece came in three boxes and was damaged in transit. Another neighborhood delivery person came and knocked on our door to let us know the previous delivery person had put the boxes (one of which was very damaged) in our driveway very haphazardly. We did put the piece together but decided we needed to contact the seller to address some of our delivery concerns.The seller, BisonOffice, has excellent, responsive customer service. They are customer-focused and addressed our needs. We would certainly recommend them and would do business with them in the future.Great cabinet! Had to repair the damaged stemware holder parts that were broken in the box, but otherwise it’s a great cabinet!Was a little weary about purchasing considering the reviews being read about being already broken in the box or hard to assemble with the instructions not easy to ready. This cabinet is about 150 lbs. It is heavy, but it is study and well made. The instructions were easy to read. I don’t know if people are getting confused with the X4 when that is not the number of the screw you need, but that indicates how many screws you would need for that specific step. Overall, we are satisfied with our purchase. Glad it did not come broken during the shipping process, the quality of the wood, and the instructions were actually easy to read if you understand how to read it.Very heavy and needs 2 people to put together. Multiple pieces.Perfect bar and beautiful piece of furniture.We purchased this piece for storage for bar supplies. It took a few hours for my husband to get it put together. There are MANY pieces. Delivery was great, as the delivery was brought up to our 3rd floor condo for no extra charge. It holds quite a bit; however, the wine glass holders do not fit for our wine glasses. We never thought about that being an issue. We have Riedel glasses, and the bases are too large to slide into the slots. The wine storage works, unless you have tall bottles or thicker bottles. Champagne and Prosecco won’t fit into the spaces. Probably the most annoying aspect of the furniture piece is the smell. It has a strong varnish smell. We have left it open for several weeks, trying to get rid of the smell. Hopefully, that will pass. We purchased the black cabinet, and it looks nice.The cam bolts didn’t go in easily on most of the items, the holes seemed to be a bit small for them so I needed to really work to even screw them in. There were quite a few times where I could feel the particle board give a bit during assembly and in one case the hole to the cam wasn’t even all the way through so I needed to drill for the rest. The cams didn’t hold the top fully steady but I tightened them as much as I dared for fear of breakage. The worst part is that one of the wooden dowels actually split the wood in the door from the shelf. I checked to see if it could have been a screw or a bolt but it was a wooden dowel. I’ve messaged the distributer and am awaiting a response.UPDATE: the seller rent me a replacement piece for the one that broke me after drilling the dowel holder a little deeper to prevent the same thing happening, I took the door apart and replaced the piece. It looks so good now. I added an after picture as well to the review.Beautiful but much bigger than I anticipated it was going to be. It did not work where we bought it for but because it is such a nice piece that we decided to keep it and put it in another area of our house. Must have patience to put together. One of the pieces had a crack in it and the company readily replaced it and sent it immediatelyThe shipment arrived earlier than expected, always much appreciated. Some minor shipping damege, but I repaired with wood glue. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. The quality issue was that all the holes pre drilled for the wood dowels were too large for the 73 wood dowels supplied. I resolved by buying wood dowels the next size up and trimming to length as required. The hole depths were not very precise, which caused a number of problems during assembly, but nothing I couldn’t resolved with either a drill or a saw. Some holes were predrilled slightly off from their needed positions. I got the impression the guy that drilled all the holes wasn’t very careful. I got through it all (no missing parts) and the finished product looks and works great. I am therefor a happy customer.Everything arrived well packed & protected. Took me a couple hours to unpack, verify I had all parts and assemble. There’s a lot of individually wrapped pieces so make sure you have space to lay out and 2-3 hours to assemble. Totally worth the price, time & effort. Totally beautiful piece of furniture. I get compliments on it daily. Very happy with my purchase!!This bar is fantastic. It's beautiful and well crafted. It holds more than I expected it to. I bought it as a gift for my fiancé and he adores it. We love how we can close it as we do not have excess room to always have it out. It would also be easy to add a lock to it one day when we have kids.It took for ever to put together though. The screws strip easily if you are not careful.I'm extremely pleased with my experience with Cymax Stores. It’s very well made, solid and heavy, I love it!! Plenty of storage, (freed up my cupboard & cantina space) and best of all as a mother I don't want bottles on display so this was the perfect piece for me!Closed it looks like a regular cabinet, open it up and your ready for entertaining!!We really love the expandable bar. It was a little damaged on some pieces but I took pictures and they quickly sent replacement parts. It is a nice dark colour and more spacious inside than what it shows.
